Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

It's not. Nievesoliveras formula is right (1/C = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + ...). For example, for two identical capacitors in series, the capacitance is half.

So then is what you are saying is by connecting two capacitors of equal value in parallel, the energy storage will double, but when the same two capacitors are connected in series, the storage remains the same as a single capacitor?

Never mind, I see, w=1/2 cv^ That means if the voltage doubles and the capacitance is half, it is still twice the power.

osiris

thank you all for the responces regarding caps

so i will have 6 16.2 v cap banks @500f

a total of 3000 f @ 16.2 vdc and 48 000 f @ 2.7 vdc

here are a few more pics

2.7vdc cap bank i used 3/4 " copper water pipe to hook up the caps

15' on this cap bank

here is the 16.2vdc cap bank

i used 20' of 1/2" copper water pipe to hook up the caps

osiris

in this picture you can see i added the charge and discharge points to the cap banks

this is the compleated cap ring
