Hi, this is my first post on this site after looking around for a bit.

I really need a DC motor that works well as a motor and a generator.  The cheaper the better  :P
It needs to have at least 0.5-1 ft pound of torque.
Many thanks in advance :]

Welcome to OverUnity.

Ebay sells oodles of Electric Scooter Motors with a Commutator & Brushes.

The nice thing is that if you spin the motor shaft, it then outputs DC electricity as a generator.

@FatBird

Thank you for the kind welcome!  I'll check that out.  An electric skooter motor sounds like it would be plenty of power and I'm sure they're reasonably efficient as generators.  yay ebay. :]
