Photobucket did indeed host the entire photo. It reports itself larger because the header now rounds off in actual bytes instead of Kbytes. There is nothing more I can give you to find the file except my password.

How appropriate to bring this thread back today. Phoenix is about to land in around 30 minutes.

I was wondering as a side note since you are a great observer, maybe you could give us a hand with the SM videos. We  now have a better quality video and there is a thread open on it here;

If you go through the pages quickly you will see  images already posted.

Not that Mars is not fascinating as well as what you're putting forth, because they are, but maybe your talent could be used elsewhere. Some fresh eyes and a new perspective may be what we need.

The only problem with the mars image that NASA release are filtered to change the color in red. instead of seeing a blue sky its red, how pathetic it is! I am sure the new photo will stay red with the same kind of filter.

Hrmm what kind of visual filter did you use to see this engine I see nothing but pixelated rocks and sand super zoomed in on....

Call me boring but I do not see anything of what you see.

But I will mention that anyone living in the country can expirence this red effect at times here on earth when the sky is full of pink clouds and the sun is setting... I have seen also everything lit with yellowish green hues before a storm the color seemed to saturate everything.

Obviously the world we live on is mostly water which is how we have the blue planet...

Anyhow radical thinking is always welcome I suppose
