Well all you need to do is step down the AC from 120v to 34v its extremely simple. You use a step down transformer. And then you are done. Do you need help with the Step down transformer?

That is easy as well. If you are using ac you just add more windings on your pickup coil I have wrapped a bazillion transformers and have built some close to unity JT's. Do you need more help? Can you please be very specific?

What you are looking for is a DC to DC converter. It needs a transistor a capacitor and a metal material to work.

However your ceramic pizeo needs a pure sine wave to work correctly I believe.

In that case you need to do some things different.

I know its easy with AC. DC not AC.  How do you do it without using AC, and only a toroid?

As far as I know you cant do it with only a toroid. If one could that would be extramly intresting. When you apply straight DC current to a toroid you create an Electromagnet.
