Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

From what I understand about ultrasonic transducers (the fogger) they are basically a sealed oscillator circuit that uses a ceramic disk as a type of high frequency speaker.  So if I am correct changing the voltage input will not alter the frequency and may only damage your oscillator if it is too high.  I think it is more likely there will be a resistor somewhere in the oscillator circuit that will raise or lower the frequency.  I think as power to be has mentioned there are a lot of hardware hacking type forums that will probably have info on this.  I hesitated to open the one I have as there did not seem to be any easy access to the circuit board but there is always a way but it will just take a little more effort.  It would be also a consideration if we could find a manufacturer to get some specs on them and see if any might be higher if if we had enough people here interested maybe the could make a small run of enough with a higher frequency.  I also suspect it would not be hard to make your own 555 chip based oscillator to run one of these.  It's quite easy to build 555 circuits as they typically only require the one inexpensive chip and a small handful of components like a couple resistors and maybe a cap or two.  I just not sure if the direct output from a 555 would be strong enough for the ceramic disk or peizo.

I could be wrong about this but that's my take on it as I did build an ultrasonic transmitter and a separate receiver many year ago.  They are not much different than a basic audio tone generator circuit except just above human hearing in the ultrasonic range and thus the speakers become tranducers.

great thinking Romo, sound like you are ready for a journey into the higher realm. Many moons ago, i was over lavished with the cosmic bliss but keep keep on going and taking nothing for granted.

ewizard, china piezo were designed for water atomizing, fits the bill well, just work on raising oscillation, very doable. you can easily get ready made commercial resonator units, just look around.

My fogger arrived!  Whoo!  So, I can do my tests a week early!  :)
Unfourtunately, this is the only post I could really squeeze in before I'm headed off to the library to get work done.  So, I havent been able to do tests with the crystals +Pizeo yet.  Soon! :o

Rad HHO, It strikes me that I do not know the vibration rate of my DK-24 Pond fogger.  Do you know that of yours?  This may be what made your crystals "not work" -- they might not have been vibrating fast enough. (For the pizeoelectric crystals, this means there wouldn't have been a strong enough electrical difference at short range -- so no HHO)

I have not conducted any tests yet -- so this is an untested thought.  I'll get back to you on this over the weekend.  :)

The ball is gettin' a-rollin,

I do not know the frequency of my fogger either.  I have been searching for more info every chance I get (which isn't very often, I'm working weekends and 16 hr days).  From what I have gathered so far, the transducers have a set resonant frequency. They can be operated outside the frequency band with some loss in output.  I have also noticed that the misters that I have been able to find info on are all in the 1.6 to 2.5 Mhz range. I will test when I have time......

Romo,
Have you seen the video Power to be posted the link for a while back?  I almost missed it. His transducer is out of a humidifier and it operates at 48 Khz.  It has the driver circuit too.  Easy access for mods.  I may have to go to walmart.

Great video.

Thanks again Power to be.

Slovenia

Thanks RAD-HHO.
