Very Very easy. Free energy Running a 240v lightbulb of one AA battery. Very real and very usefull. With full how to. 100% real. This is very easy to do and easy to make. Hope some of you find this usefull. Great for reading lights or camping. Free energy if you get the camera and battery from used source. It will also run for over 12 hrs on a single rechargeable battery. Uses hardly any amps. Great for science shows.

Great work Arnookie: I want to replicate it. Couple of questions: How many watts and frequency is your cfl. Are you familiar with the disposable Kodak camera circuit (Fan saver), since Fuji´s is not available down here?

      Thanks

Yes I am familiar with the kodak and nearly all the circuits. The cfl is 13watt hope that helps. I have hundreds of the fuji circuits that I give free to people who can't get them. I only request people send me a stamped addressed envelope and a few bucks to cover postage. Message me if you want to know more, but it normall costs about $3 to post them.
If you need help with the kodak circuit message me and I will try to help. :O)

You should be able to find cfl around 11-14watts easy anyware I use the philips 11watt bulbs usually. don't worry about the voltage difforence that has no effect. Once the bulb is removed from its balast or base they are the same warever you are. Also I have used a wide range in bulbs watts.  They all seem to work okay just not tried bulbs above 60 watts. :O)
Just wannted to make that clear. :O)

Arnookie:

Well done.  I would only add that folks use led bulbs instead of cfls as you can get much more light with less power use.

I have used the Lights Of America bulbs from Walmart so far and I get at least 2 times the light as I do from my cfl versions.

I did a comparison in my video here:

I didn't notice if you also cut the anode end of the diode to get the full wave in your version?  If not, this really helps a lot with the output.  A single AA can run 3 of these bulbs which have 27 led chips in each bulb.  Very, very bright and no breakage or mercury to worry about.

I always wanted to do a how to on the Fuji mod but never got around to it.  Great job.
