I was wondering if someone has done this with the Socket Pocket Smile disposable camera. Board looks similar but I can't figure out where to put the leads...

That would be great at $10 a piece just to dismantle id like to salvage the components if i can.

Hi,

The A07 Fuji board has been superseded by their A60 board which has the battery Plus on the long arm. The board looks fairly similar. I have the red light solidly lit and the fluorescent bulb confirmed as correctly wired and working, but when I connect the bulb (as shown for the A07 board), the red light dims only slightly and the bulb shows slight activity but does not strike and light. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Yes there is several things you can do . There is a resistor at that base of that transistor .this holds true no matter which board you have . there are actually 4 different fugi boards. I used to put a small momentary switch to Kickstart  cfls bulbs that are stubborn to light . .. I also believe i hold the record for the longest running fugi off  a single battery 38 hours off an enigizeraa :)its a table lamp  I don't think we ever did a how to  but there are several other threads on the kodak and fugi .If you need help just ask . I also have a box of AA fuji circuit boards most have the neon and large transformer  and ask the the same . mailing charge and return envelope . I know a lot of people Cut that diode . I just jump it with a wire and then the output is where the cap used to be . you can replace that transistor base resistor with a variable pot also to adjust your current drain /brightness. and tune it with small disk capacitors across your pot outer legs . you will find a happy spot with good light and the least amount of current draw.
