It looks like the standard is shaping up to be compressed hydrogen gas as the standard. BMW has balked at this since the Hydrogen 7 uses super cooled liquid hydrogen. But a month or so ago, BMW said they will be halting development of the Hydrogen 7 and so there are few objectors left as to what the standard may be.
