Just bring HV discharge from small capacitor to your grenade coil and see what do you get. This stuff is highly experimental and is also shotgun approach. For full effect the Dally circuit with nanosecond pulses on the right time and position can be referred. The Tesla coil is used there for the same function just as higher voltage source (5kV+ spikes should be enough).

If you expect high standards it should come from institutes and academies but not from amateurs.
All you need is the grenade coil and induction heater part from akula/Ruslan circuit and the flyback transformer with its driver charging small capacitance then discharging to coax cable over spark gap. If that is still too complicated I do not know how I can help you.
