Just noticed that thanks. So seems like a cool way for finding resonant point. I'll also try it to see if there is any difference with when injecting hf through yoke's primary.

So your frequency on grenade is 5.8 MHz. The wire length by calculation is indicating 51.724 meters. Is that correct?

Hi T-1000. I have rewound my grenade coil a few times over the last year or two, trying different
variations. I can't remember now what the length of this particular grenade coil was, but it is probably
somewhat longer than what Ruslan showed in his earlier videos. It could possibly be as long as
51m, but I can't recall now what the length was on this last winding.

Have you got a frequency meter ? and a VFO if so it's dead easy to find wavelength and wire length but note if sec winding is not exact half it will mismatch, and simply us a resonance calculation, Anyway even when you have that right i can't see that fixing it without the secret ingredient ! Let's hope i am wrong !
