    As I don't have a scope to tune the circuit with, here is a good example of how to tune the toroid, yoke, or ferrite rod cores and their windings. The same procedure can be used on all the cores, by adding or removing winding even without having to cut the wire. I use a single light bulb, and a garden solar light photo resistor tapped to the bulb, and connected to my volt meters ohm setting, to gauge the bulb brightness, by the given resistance value.
  The ferrite rod in the video below is what I use to give the pulced Ac of about 1500 volts to my yoke, of 12 turns, opposite wound center tapped red wire. I also have another coil next to it on about 20 turns single later, open ended.  I then use a 3 turn thick output coil going out of the yoke, which goes to the cap, then to the big air coils resonant coil.
  I have not started to tune my circuit yet until I obtain my various capacitors, as I know it won't work the same without them.

  Grum: this set up below can also be used on your toroid core, until you find a yoke to use.

Great work! AT LAST somebody is actually measuring the light output with an objective instrumental method, instead of saying "Golly, look, a 100 Watt bulb is lit up, so there must be 100 Watts there! And this bulb is even brighter, so it must be putting out even more than 100 Watts!!"
Anyone who is using light bulbs or even LEDs for loads and looking at light output for an output power judgement _must_ develop some kind of instrumental means of measuring the light output, because subjective impressions are not reliable, and just because it says "100 Watts" on the label does not mean that the bulb, when glowing brightly, is actually dissipating 100 Watts or that all the power you are giving it is coming out in visible light.
