Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

It's not as artificial and uninformative as you suggest. For example...

Hi Verpies,
I disagree. To be clear, I was not refering to the picture you attached, but so called 'dancing wave' effect which is being shown by succesfull builders of the device BTG. Im sure that this is nothing more than scope sampling effect.

...the shape of the current waveform (blue), visible at faster timebases, is the classic current waveform occurring in saturating ferro-cored transformers.
Theoretically yes, but for some of you starting to pursue saturation in the yoke, there is much simplier explanation for such a waveform: badly designed current transformer lacking terminating resistor will do the job too and in exactly the same way as on the picture. I made two quick camera shots to show you that. Both yellow traces show the same current, first with poor current transformer, second with a good one.

Good day All

Just to confuse matters, I will add:
So, the question is: does he have a ballast resistor across his CT?
And what are we actually seeing?

take care,peace

Good day All

Had time to watch the video again:
Yes, the CT is terminated with *something*.  I really can't tell if it is a resistor, but it is definitely soldered to both ends of CT leads.

take care, peace

I disagree. To be clear, I was not referring to the picture you attached,
I was referring to the entire video from which I picked up that one scopeshot.

Do you think the author of this video was using a current transformer?
Anyway, what bad design of the transformer, besides the lack of the terminating resistor, produces this waveform for you?
