Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Void,

when i measured the current in the 24V +V line some days ago, i also noticed a current unbalans. see screenshot below (still at 5A/Div).
But that was in the +V supply line, not sure if that is where you have measured (looks like you measure in the toroid center tap wire only (which i cannot), so behind the non dissipative snubber).
Yellow / blue drains signals, green the +24V supply current

QuoteIsu, maybe your current shows as a sinewave because you were tuned to resonance
in the series resonant loop on the secondary...

Yes, i was in resonance with the series resonant loop on the secondary, but i was not measuring in the +24V supply line nor the toroid center tap wire,
it was just behind the 2 feedback diodes, see red square in my diagram below.
My idea was that there should be no swinging current, just the feedback spikes, but i guess i was wrong.

Hi Itsu, Yes, I noticed that you were measuring the current in a bit different location.
Due to the way my board is wired in, I didn't have easy access to just the non-dissipative snubbers diode output current.
I am showing the full V+ current waveform where V+ connects to the center tap on the toroid primary winding.
It is interesting that your V+ current is also not balanced. Thanks for confirming that.
Maybe this is just due to the way the PWM works when connected to this type of center tapped winding.

All the best...

   Void:
I have an imbalance also. So...  Does not seam to matter too much. And I still can get the RM signal,.also, even when using just the 18v laptop adapter.
Replaced the bad resistors, but it did not help bring my PS back to life. Bummer!

Yes if you look at a simple TV EHT circuit on a tv you have a line then a fly back ( ____________!! ) next line. look at the Nano pulse circuit,  be careful how you faf around with this type of set up.

Tesla said he used a motor with a small fly wheel with a nodule on it to control a micro switch on and of. it's in his patent.

Note the TK aquarium video.

Thank you very much for the info.
but could you draw a picture please.

Hi Nick. Yes, a bit of an imbalance probably doesn't matter too much.
Yeah, that's a bummer about your 24V power supply.
The joys of doing this kind of experimentation. :)

P.S. To get that shortwave radio background noise kind of sound (RM) from the ferrite toroid,
you probably need fairly high voltage spikes, which is probably also causing high current spikes.
I think the noises may be due to magnetostriction in the ferrite, as Hoppy mentioned
a while back. If that is what you want to experiment with, then you are probably better off
with IRFP450 or IRFP460 MOSFETs or better, because they are rated for 500V. They have a higher
Drain to Source resistance than IRFP260 MOSFETs however, so I can't guarantee they won't
get too hot on you. :) There are more expensive MOSFETS available that have high Drain to Source
voltage ratings and low Rds ratings.
