   Yes, but only at the best sync, or resonant point. At no other tuning point will any additional light be noticed at the output, by the addition of the ground line. My two earth ground lines, are of thick aluminum 37.5 meters long, and end up going into my water well.

I tend to agree with Alien that its not good having ali cable in your water supply, assuming you drink / cook with it, especially if there is a current flowing in the cable. I would think it better and probably safer to follow the practice of other builders that have claimed self-runners and connect the cables to a decent earth rod / farm.

Hi Nick. If you mean the ground wires are just dropped into the well water,  although water does conduct,
even well water with typically lots of mineral salts in it isn't all that great of a conductor. If there is a metal
pipe of some type going down into the well, making a good clean and solid electrical connection to that
metal pipe should make a much better earth ground.
