Ah yes Tinman. Sound guy but his sad leaving is partly the result of taking the BS too seriously. BS is par for the course on the fora.

Can you please advice me on how to better understand where and how to set up the scope. So that both HV (5000v), as well as the Grenade output wave forms can be read at the same time.
The idea is to try to tune these two frequencies, to match up on the scope screen, as has been shown by Stalker, Akula, and others. But, I've have difficulties trying to do the same thing, and having it show up on the scope. As there is a lot of difference in frequencies between them. And the scope won't read the wave form at the grenade's output. The scope can read the values before the full bridge rectifier that goes to the bulb and feed back circuit, but not after the bulb.
  Any help would be great.

Nick,

the grenade will show a frequency of around 15Khz and your kacher of about 1.7Mhz.

Allthough you can show both signals on your scope (2 channels), you only have 1 time base setting on your scope, meaning that you
can only get a clear signal on either the grenade signal or the kacher signal.

Not sure how Stalker, Akula, and others are able to do so, so please can you give an example where they do that?

What you can do is sync in on the grenade signal with your time base setting and leave the kacher signal free flowing and watch/tune its amplitude for max or whatever you want to tune to.

Not sure either why your scope won't read the wave form at the grenade's output, it should be able to do so.
You might have a groundloop problem with your scope probe ground lead there.

Well, that's what I've been doing, but, I'd like to be able to see both wave forms, clearly, if possible. Such as the scope shots from Stalker's video, below. Sorry for the blurry pics.

Nick is that squiggle signal at the bottom the the high voltage 'Electronically' simulated 'spark gap' firing ???
Look Nick the original Tesla device has a high voltage generated it then charges a capacitor and once it's at it's peek voltage
it fires across the spark gap the energy in the capacitor !!! into another 'kicking coil' or Tesla coil, what ever.
I don't see any thing like that happening, DO YOU ?

Some one is BS you !! and it's not me! and whats the sine wave ?

Nick,

those screenshots you show, you should be able to produce too.

As i mentioned earlier, you can sync on the grenade signal (yellow trace in your first 2 screenshots at about 15Khz) and let the kacher signal (blue trace in those screenshots at a pulsed 1.7Mhz) flow, so without seeing details on the kacher signal.

Or you can sync your time base again on the grenade signal (see upper part of the 3th screenshot) and zoom in on the kacher signal (between brackets).
In this 3th screenshot you see that the used scope has a "zoom" function where he can "zoom" in on a part of that upper trace signal and display it on the lower part of the scope.
So here he kind of shows both signals on the scope screen.

I think your scope will have a similar "zoom" function (normally a button with a looking glass on it), but i am not sure, perhaps Void or Dog_One knows (or use the manual to find out).
