Well Nick,

already your kacher running at 892.8Khz runs on the 32th harmonics of your grenade signal at 27.9Khz, so it probably needs a small adjustment to sync both.

yes it will present a stable signal to both channels, but are they really "in sync" like Nick wants?
I think that that setting will ALTernate between both channels, but does not sync them, so you cannot make frequency adjustments as
the trigger will ALTernate between them, if you know what i mean.

What TK is telling you is simply this, you said your self your katcher is 'free' running, so how can you 'lock it' to anything ?
Does every one walk at the same speed ? what are you going to do throw an anchor at it  :D or make some control logic so you can control and  lock it ?

   Sounds like Itsu is right, and so is TK, so I'll fire up the old Tek scope and give it a couple of good swift kicks, and see if it comes back to life, again. Sort of miss using it...

  As my simple kachers range is between 830KHz to 1.1MHz. What frequency in theory should I look for on the grenade's output signal to match the kacher's frequency. Instead of normally doing it the other way around.
Using ferrite in the kacher pipe can induce a lot of addition heating from and on the inside out.
For me the non ferrite kacher frequency is 1.1MHz.

AG: I did not say any thing about free running. I've cut the kacher's secondary coil many times looking for the best resonant match up. And can further control the frequency using ferrite in the PVC pipe. Not looking to lock onto any frequency, as different loads need different frequencies.
I am however looking to make a controllable kacher circuit, as well. To keep up with the Jones.
