If there is any truth in the OU claims then the most likely explanation IMO is that the yoke core acts a fuel. Kapanadze clearly shows that there is nothing critical about the length or gauge of the ground wire. I think Nick is beginning to realise that building a device based on the published circuits is futile unless the principle of operation is fully understood. Some of us have spent countless hours frigging about chasing the rainbows end, with various builds, whilst being clueless about the modus-operandi.

Yes it is clear that people's attitude changes depending on the cafe you are writing to. But.. results are the same no matter the caffe..
