These were my first experiments into the effect. But I must admit I did not notice the "ONE WAY" effect you describe!! Perhaps you could elaborate??

  I use batteries along with capacitors, in some cross-over circuits, although I don't have the bigger 10000uf ones, I do connect various 4700uf and 1000uf together with the series of batteries. Unfortunately I don't have my best pictures of the higher powered cross-over circuit, due to a Pc harddrive failure.

  For anyone still looking for a clear picture of the Akula device,  here is one that might do.
I would love to see someone replicate and even improve on this most interesting device.

Another interesting effect with this experiment is that if the centre wire is scoped with respect to one end of the wire, a waveform is only displayed when one or more of the ferrite cores sits between the scope probe and its croc clip. Its as if the ferrite core introduces a load into the wire section passing through it, such that a potential difference can then be measured across that wire section. The higher the permability of the core, the higher is the peak to peak voltage.  Maximum current is drawn from the source supply when the impedance of the load equals the source impedance as would be expected.

Hi Grumage,

It was pretty late last night.
What i meant "One way"  even though in Multimeter A/C mode did produce some reading around 0.46volts .But upon connecting Led by right it should work either way for a A/C voltage.
But it was not the case for this A/C.I did not use scope to check late last night since for my i would need to take it out and set it up.I would do it tonight.
I recalled it was the same case for the mini version done around 1 year ago which i merely placed it on floor as shown at the top of my attached photo.

Upon checking the energetic forum there is no other photo of SR193 uploaded around Year 2010(around 3 year ago OMG).
In fact i was surprised to see clear photo over there as if the person whom created the device was in the forum...or knew the creator of device somehow...hmmm
