Guy's this 1/4 wave thing are we talking 1/4 half the frequency (1.8Mhz) or 1/4 the wave length
there is a difference, Wesley was talking about 3/4 along the katcher coil and a tap
that isn't 1/4 wave and then there is 1/4 way along from the earth tap or are we guessing ?
Oh and 1/2 wave tap aint 1/4 wave, is it! ??

I think what you are referring to is frequency of wire length

If you pick up a length of 40mtrs for your removable coil(grenade) you will have a freq.  Of about 1.8Mhz  as the ¼wavelength. That is the freq at which that wire length naturally vibrates

It is gotten from the formula of wavelength;

Lambda= c/f
Where Lambda is wavelength
             C is speed of light 299,792,458m/s
             F is freq.

So, for 40mtrs length of wire, you have this:

F=c/Lambda(wavelength)
 
   = 299,792,458/40
F =7,494,811.45hz

For ½ wavelength resonance is F/2
F= 3,747,405.725Hz or 3.747405 MHz

In the same vain, if you're using ¼ wavelength resonance is F/4
F=1,873,702.8625Hz or 1.8737028625Mhz

You hear Ruslan talking about his freq of 1.875Mhz this is what he was referring to and that his PP freq is 37.5khz. he divided by 50 to get that.

Max thanks for confurming that bit about the frequency division, BUT I'm not thinking it's just a RF divisory task like divide by 50

   AG:  I tried to find the video in the link above showing what happens when you try to match up the two frequencies.
But, it takes some time to find, as there is much to go through. Perhaps you can look for it, if it interests you.   
   You've asked me many times what frequency my Kacher runs at. I answered many times, 900KHz, to 1.2MHz.
It seams that you don't really read these posts, or is your memory failing you? I just mentioned it, again, you might try to remember it this time, if it matters to you. And keep in mind that my grenade is 37.5 meters long, not 40 meters. And the inductor, is exactly 18.75 meters long. My Kacher can output anywhere from 5000v to 10.000v.

   I agree. Tariel has no real knowledge of electronics, printed circuit board design or  assembly, and soldering abilities etc... As he is showing with the devices and their circuits, in his last few videos.
