To every one experimenting in chubinidze, sr193, don smith, akula, dally and any other free energy venture. please be aware of the dangers involved to life. experiments involving high voltage dc can be fatal and can take your life if you are not careful! hv dc is more dangerous than hv ac. the hv dc from flyback or high voltage diodes or rectifier that is fwbr is very fatal as it  it makes a person stick to the live termial and its beyond ones control to jerk the wire or terminal by oneself. so have someone around  when experimenting with hv ac or hv dc or pulsed hv dc. so the other one can cutt off the power in case casuality happens!

wear shoes and gloves and make sure the the experiment is done in dry conditions. always earth the negative lead or cold end of hv  , transformer, or battery negative. use bleeder resistors across caps dealing with high voltage ac or dc in measure of 10k ohms half watt to bleed off any charge in caps.

no problem.

different ferrite diameters can be used. if diameter of one ferrite small that it gets inserted in big ferrite then use cardboard spacer to glue them togather so inner diameter remains equal to the lowest ferrite diameter.

One thing I think is worth mentioning, use mosfet's for the HV oscillator in a proper Royer configuration but using an anti-phase coil winding as specified by 00. I have found that the basic two transistor flyback driver circuit shown by 00 is very prone to instability and overheating.
