  Energy from nuclear decay is an assumption at best in this case in particular.
  IF, there is any alfa, beta, x-ray, or gamma radiation coming from this device, that fact has also not yet been proven.  And, I still don't buy it, even if Akula himself has said been lead on to say so. Much less anyone else that has not even built this device, or seen it working, nor has any idea how to make it work.
  So, please don't lead people on with these assumptions... until proven.
  It's more than likely harvesting surrounding ambient energies, that have no harmful radioactive properties, nor side effects, other than stray RF, or HV, like a normal Tesla coil would emit.  And possibly no more dangerous than your CRT Tv, or Pc monitors.

  Hoppy:  Glad that you now have something new to speculate about. It really would be best to take the whole device to a field, for a field test. I don't see much problem with putting the whole thing in his car, drive to the remote spot, and set it up for a test run. 
  Maybe it can be suggested, again, for more credibility in future videos.

To avoid undue speculation, it would have been sensible to have disconnected the thick 'earth' cable from the pole to show that it was in fact terminated to it. Simply turning off the mains power to his house is totally unconvincing given that he could easily have a set of batteries powering the device through the dodgy looking 'earth' cable.
