The ciruit can be applied to what is happening here within the first akula vid also. But for sure with more Highpowered IGBT's or mosfets.

  Geo:
   The above diagram was not made by Akula, and is not showing the 20 turn (or so) yoke's secondary coil windings, or it's connections. Only the yoke's three turns output coil.  So, I believe that it is not correct, as is shown on that diagram.
Also, I believe Akula mentioned that that diagram is not correct,
  However, the pulsing circuit shown in that diagram, with the adjustable controls, MAY be able to be used, as it is similar to the schematic that you posted previously.
  If your circuit is working, then I would rather use exactly what you are using, as it has been confirmed, by you.
 
  What I see in that last diagram, or the one you posted previously, is an adaptation of the Mazilli crt, with the adjustables controls attached.
   I'd still rather purchase a commercially made mosfet driver circuit, or induction heater oscillator crt, if possible for this purpose. As just like Igor has shown, the commercially made induction heater oscillator circuit, can provide for a much higher output (2000w or higher output), than any Roger/Mazilli oscillator can. Those induction crts are not that expensive to buy, maybe like $35, or so. Of course just one mistake and it will fry,  as happened to Igor. He has now replaced it, or fixed it.

Might be that not akula but this is the method of circuit he used for his setup. It wont really matter now who designed it, but these circuits have potential and work very awesomely.
I will post a complete schematic today of what is  to be the Rusland/akula  device.

There is a huge difference inbetween the working of a normal Mazilli circuit and a TL494/ IR2153 circuits.
the  commerciall mosfet induction drivers won't do the same work as these circuits, I've seen Igor trying so much with them, but there is no luck in there, Gegene project.
Depending the power outputs, how you rectify and caps.
I really don't see to think to use any Commercial mosfet induction drivers in this setup. they are fragile and can't handle pressure.
See this akula/ruslan circuit as a sinewave inverter mixed with the  yoke induction circuit with proper pulses.

These circuits can be build to handle even 120, 220, 300VDC + ! depending your mosfets or IGBT's. The output is massive.
I have tried many things with this circuit and it really has awesome power,
Also made a Solid State Tesla Coil with it, giving the circuit ( another circuit setup, not the posted one) 120 to 300Vdc, to give huge Radiant Arcs.

GeoFusion, looking closer at your Akula Driver circuit diagram, I guess the output of the driver circuit may actually be a square wave rather than a sine wave. I haven't actually tried building a circuit like that yet so I am not sure...
