The red tape is I think covering all of the secondary winding which is visible protruding from underneath each end of the primary winding. So no additional; winding IMO.

Off topic somewhat, ELECTRIC WATER..

Here is a clip of mine that shows electric water, however it is  "Polystyrene" that holds a electrostatic charge inside the bottle and NOT the water. In a general sense it is a plastic capacitor with tap water an ion carrier..

It looks like he's assimilating a transistor as a resistor/capacitor in parallel.
so maybe I can put a smaller capacitor in series with the transistor and increase the frequency
