   I think if this particular device is built according to the specks, and all the same components are used,
and everything done exactly to the T, one might get a chance to see some positive results, like self running.
And, it may not be so extremely hard to tune this type of device, as well. Since everything is somewhat pre-tuned
to some degree already by the Akula, and Ruslan, the original builders. Like the type of tuning caps, fets, coil winding counts, etz...
 
   One thing that I can see already, is that, the voltage/current inputs need to be very stable, especially to self run.
As any variance can alter the resonance that is needed to maintain the device running right.
  As I'm only still working on this, I'll always let everybody here know of any progress on this long road. 
Seams like earth ground lines does play a mayor role here, as well.  Better to go with the recommended thick 37.5 meter
ground(s).

Runs for some hours don't know if it depletes still but lets see.
and did try to put it in Mircowave to shield it from just about anything , that will be in the next vid.

This circuit reminds me on how Akula did his Toroid of wires only and 2 to 3 transistorsand caps and resistors with diodes.
that has self run ability. Will see how these things work out later on.

   Geo:
  In order to really test your little circuit, you have to isolate it from all stray AC grid capacitive sources in your house. As well as, you NOT holding it, while barefoot on the floor, and also isolate it from touching anything, like the table, or being too close to any sources of stray input.  You should hang it away from everything, or outside hung on a tree, on a fishing line, would be even better.

   In order to test it indoors, you should also turn off your house breakers, and test it again. You will immediately see what I mean.
  As I think that what you're really seeing is nothing more than what I've just mentioned, and not a self runner.
  Or possibly it can also be a galvanic reaction between you, the copper wires, and aluminum caps.
  I've had some experience with that kind of device, and I've also build the LS cross-over crt, which showed some self-charging abilities, although very limited over any length of time.
  Your crt also probably really needs an isolated tuned ground line, to be able to light the leds to USEABLE brightness.

  Waiting for your result on the Akula/Ruslan device.  Holding my breath...

   Not my video, but I see some similarities between this Exciter circuit, and many other self runners. Like Vamus's devices...

   Guys, these tuning caps that Ruslan uses may be extremely important: $10 to $15 each, not cheap.  I hope they're worth it.

  Does anyone have access to a schematic or diagram that shows how to build a Kacher using the IRFP260N mosfet???
  If so, please upload it for us, here.  As I'd like to try that approach, to see if it can deliver a higher output to the Kacher secondary coil, than the transistor version. As I still have several of the mentioned fets.
