Dear Nick.

I can raise stupidly high voltages on the choke at the resonant frequency. I have a 10 turn pickup coil on the choke who's turns are 255. I am using the probe on X100 and with the scope on it's max 5V/cm, the sine wave goes off the scale. But this is just volts little current.

The device just sits on the bench now. I have tried everything?? Divine intervention is the only thing left!! That or a VERY large hammer!!

I just can't open it. An "old fart" where computers are concerned!!

So my question is? Is this the video of heating the spanner? If so this is not the one I mean!! Around the time of that video there was another posted (Same Bench) with an array of Green Thyristors and a board with 3 red led's running in a sequence. This is what I am refering to with regard to the above schematic.

The large Yellow tube is a Tesla secondary of 1000 turns of 0.25 wire on a 40 mm dia former. I am getting to know some Russian?? Please correct me if I am wrong??

And no I have not tried to put anything metallic into the core. But if you cast your mind back I did have the center choke collapse. This could have been the result of the windings heating up from the drive coil!

I'm glad to have you guys around to translate for me.

Grumage that video was merely trying to convey that the circular kapanadze like coil works like a induction heater.He use a temperature probe and mounted it on spanner.As he put spanner in it the temperature then rise slowly.Not red hot which we don't want.He did use yoke which is believe to acting like hv transformer for 220v which is connected via microwave capacitor to circular kapanadze like device.
This is the part which got me excited since it looks "high voltage\low current" to power thick coil which can also act like induction heater ,although this is not the plan.But it is a good way to test if KAPANADZE device is working properly.No heating means not working or driver stage is too weak.This is just my unproven theory.

This is the second vid of heating the wrench I believe. I believe this is the actual "choke or drossel" in the self runner. it is mp4 format.
I use VLC media player.
