Akula write to me, that in this divice pick up coil (съёмная) is exatly same wound and have same numbers of turns like in shematic "Схема передающего и приёмного ТТ" and cable same, multistand wire 6 mm2 (without oxigen), with uasualy wire also works, but on output 400 W for lamps and 170 W back to selffeeding. Thats mean may do with confidence with uasualy wire. Just works weaker... 


So. how I understand. numbers of turns is same, just resonant frenquency of coil is different, because wounded on smaller diametter tube.

Easy, as regards Oxygen free copper wire !! High class speaker wire is O free !!

I just looked on eBay, not cheap though but available in 2.5 mm2 !!

I think it's better to stick with normal multi strand electrical wire.

I just received my 40KV 20MHZ probe today.In ebay the probe picture looks little smaller.

I have attached photo just for comparison against normal probe.

I have also received a dimmable  220volt NST 10KV today as well.The dimmer knob on NST beats my expectation.The dimmable version would save me the extra connection via external resistive dimmer to 220v inverter.

On Friday or Saturday i will upload youtube demo for my 40KV probe with various HV source.

I'm still waiting for hv caps,hv diodes,220volt sine wave inverter to arrive for Don smith.

4uf 4kv caps is still in the mist of delivery for Akula replication.

Please do not use bridge rectifier for loop back to battery.I find that many bridge rectifier in the 30Amp...50Amp around 600volt...1000volts is actually design to run on mains 50/60hz frequency base on datasheet.
Fast recovery diode around 35ns or <100ns in parallel configuration need to get (At least 100Amp ideally) at 200....600volts and need to form a bridge.

12volt x 100Amps =1200w.
The cable need to be thick as well to support amps.

I keep thinking one of the youtube video of "theoldscientist" where he got resonance and it revealed as double helix waveform like a inverted virtual image of the same waveform.
I'm thinking if this waveform which appear that is doing the work without putting additional load on the source which remains the same.
I can be wrong as well since i have not started experimenting on this area yet to confirm this.

Nice probe. Sooner you will find that you can measure high frequency and high voltage, with only the needel of your probe, without connecting the other clamp.

I had a total recall once you mentioned "overunity from NST" .Please refer to the link Don smith video Part 8.
He did say almost the same thing in video about NST but i didn't knew what he meant previously.
