Refer to my previous posting where i attached screenshot of my power meter without bulb it's mere 1.05Amps at 30.42volts (Kacher and PWM generator to nano crystalline toroid) without bulb.

I am using my own design for kacher circuit just 3.3kohms from 2SC5200 bsae to positive.The TVS diode used between base and  emitter is 18volts bidirectional "P6KE18CA" ."But i don't know if i need to use 5volts bi directional TVS diode".

I am using RF toroid(Clear red design for frequency 0.25 to 10 Mhz) with 10 turns (around 10uH) for common mode choke(+ and -) to kacher circuit.

Please don't worry about bulb.I noticed many of you guys are always 100% concern about bulbs before even thinking about harmonics or proper 1/4 or 1/2 resonance.
This is not the right way of thinking. :'(


Just look at URFA video bulbs are not even lit at all until he connects kacher primary coil via choke to center tap.


I may try other type of capacitor besides induction heating caps after 3 turns just  to test if there is any possible current leakage across capacitor.

May i ask are you using 200volts rated mosfet at least and not the 55volts rated ones.


I am using 600volts rated IGBT with no internal blocking diode as attached for experiment.

Upcoming plan to alter varistor to 470volts rated instead of existing 140volts.

Grenade 6th layer on ground, Kacther tuning on resonance of grenade. Light bulb 25W shine at full brightenes. Than attach 1st layer on ground no lighting.

to Hoppy@ stand-by led is light all time. Get power from output capacitors. Keep in mind Ruslan used original Akula electronic switch for device and his light bulb switch was also turned-off so light bulb doesn't shunt PS. And most important you have ctahced effect - no need to suspect yourself.

Since you have mentioned this.I have just verified with my psu by switching on and off in 1 sec with no circuit connection.The green led stays on for around 20seconds.But if i connect output to 10,000uf 50volts capacitor.It stays longer than 35seconds.

Switch based on logic can consume very low current at idle.

We have clearly replicated small spark output similar to Ruslan at resonance.

At this stage of experiment we need to figure out trigger for the kacher and i am now starting to see so many variation related to connection of multilayer coil.Only 1 combination is real which i will find out soon hopefully.

No time to sit and ponder for my case.

Just moving forward with experiment.

@ Hoppy.
Did you wind your inductor coil at the same direction with the first two 48T layers of grenade or at the opposite?
We have a difference on somewhere that causes a deviation between our systems. The only point i can think is the related direction between those two coils.
