It is interesting what internet can offer provided if you know what to look for.

This pdf link does provide evidence there is current movement to the ground if tesla coil is properly driven by gated pulse with nanosecond pulse.

Page 45 reveal the Tesla old drawing related to gated pulse as mentioned in my recent comment related to what Akula was showing in video.

But at Page 50 -Eric Dollard's MagnifyingTransmitter

Hi MenofFather i see the circuit layout your talking about if we make that circuit it does have an an-inverter, boost for the supply of the TL494, i have found in the past 12v is useless on that chip as in my experience you need to go higher than a Kilo hrz you need at least 15 or 16 volts or perhaps more, so that would be good, Does any one have a good layout for that circuit schismatic i can use to make a   PCB design ?? Also any idea how to make and wind the Coil ??

The other thing this is just the TX, where is the other RX section ?

I do not know about that layout you speeking.

Because this schematic one time draw Ruslan and how say one man, he made selfrunning using that schematic. But, I think, that not easy is made selfrunning. And that man use 15 meters ground cable directly to good ground (3 stripe about 1-2 meters is in ground).

hi everyone,

I have just reverse engineered and redraw 74HC14 circuit part of Akula transmitter circuit(Brought to Germany previously) to find out what kind of "interrupter pulse" being fed into pin 3 of TL494(Main oscillator) for the transmitter circuit which is driving the tesla coil.

Please do ignore the MC34063 as it only serve to down convert high voltage eg:36volts to 12volts for 7805 regulator as an example.

In the original circuit shown in video C1 is 100nf which merely produce around 140hz and C3 is around 56nf.

I have attached the circuit and  the interrupter pulse out.

Since i do not have a TL494 I/C at the moment i am unable to find out if the pulse would match the video.

The above replication video is using ground to transfer power.But i am only interested in current transfer to the ground at the moment with the use of interrupter.

Side-Note-There are many sites to show how to construct a RF Amp meter which is not the same as Amp meter unless it's clamp version.
