It is possible that those "non-level" bottoms to the half-cycle waveforms that Nick is getting from the Drains are due to the uncompensated capacitance of that 100x probe. It would be nice to see what kind of waveform that probe gives, when connected to the scope's Probe Calibrator output. (The little hole labelled "Probe Adjust" next to the right side of the screen.)

And how is it when you use de-coupling 1pf capacitor?  Can that help to read correct on the oscilloscope?

  Nelson:
   I know about BEMF. But, you have not mentioned just what should be changed on the Mazilli's snubber, or protection circuit, that should not be used.
  There are only two fets, two 18v zener diodes, two 10k resistors,  two IN5398 cross-over diodes, and two chokes. That's it. 
So, what change are you suggesting? Please use the picture below to indicate what should be changed.
Remember that my circuit is not like yours, and can output over 1000v, so, it's BEMF is also much stronger, and the fets are only 200v.
  Ruslan is using a snubber circuit, and lighting 4000w worth of bulbs. So,  His snubber is wrong???

  TK:  I've tried many different tuning caps, and they all give the same shape of the wave form, only changing the frequency, or a small increase in voltage. The clip on probes, (second set of probes), also give the same wave form, when placed next to the yoke primary coil. Not touching anything directly, as it is clipped onto the primary wire's insulation. And only the negative probe is connected directly on the PS negative rail, which is about 8 inches away from the yoke.
   My 1x. and 10x probes, and WIMA caps will be here on the 22nd pf Sept.
  I do seam to have a problem with the second channel of this scope, which appears to be dead. I had not tried to use it until yesterday, using the 100x probe, but I get no image on the scope screen. Jesus...
Any ideas?

thank you for bringing up the Lithaunia experiment with the yoke, now it connects another puzzle for me here.
I'm very sure this is the type of generator tech which Akula is working on. reaching a resonance point where these alloys release energy lvl's in high speed.
It is dangerous, produces harmful radiation if to close and to long near it  amazing but has potential.

Gratz on able to make the mazilli work, the cap was the only thing missing although it was always on paper .
Nice setup, but this Akula/Ruslan system seems to me more then just connecting wires and making it work though after
having a new thought on how this device works after watching a demonstration within a video.

a bit off topic ,I have recently tried to replicate a Don Smith version of a Chinese guy called Cloud,  and the capacitor array works .
Did many combinations for the outputs but did not manage any massive loading yet. but only massive amps that don't harm the body.

I'm to be continuing the Akula/ Ruslan device after seeing a particular video I'm about to share.

About the Akula/ Ruslan Device,
There is but one man (Urfa) that demonstrated something in a video which has shown me something   
that raised my thoughts and connected a piece of the puzzle in my research, Ruslan in his 4Kw demonstration video also shows it.
It's not so simple as it seems but yet it looks  simple  when you see it how I do   yet it's so amazing, It's something like EODs!
yet It has to go under experimentations now. I also gathered the schematic which I found somewhere on the forum of Real strannik sometime
to see how he had his connections. lets see how this one works out.

What opened my eyes in the video is when I saw HV of the tesla coil being mixed and Drivin in sync with the Amps of the inductor oscillation.
He demonstrates the  "Effect" how the dangerous HV output  arcs near the 1Kw halogen bulb.
This must be achieved before even continuing to think to self feed the system.

This way of producing electricity reminds me of EOD Electrocommunications .

It was always in my thoughts if it could be mixed , separate Voltage and Separate Amps,  It's how I see it now.
Having a Carrier wave and other freq. waves within it like a radio station broadcasting. .
RMG only produced HIGH AMPS and in resonance and managed output in a odd way but this system is different and amazing.

Nick have a look at this device (it's just an Aerial coil set to 103 Khz)  but you might want to see the wave form, see photo's (the freq is set by the cap.
The device only has gate protection ( if it's removed, the fet's will die) you can see by the sine wave, it has no fly back or BEMF. (Tech 2215, it's 30 years old

What happens if you wind the brillance up and press the beam finder with chII set on ? try winding the beam possition knob up and down does the out of focus 2nd beam move up and down ?

Have you got the manual with the scope, they use to give them with the scope when you had the thing ?
