I added the new kacher driver to the mix to get a picture of the timing of it all.

Below screenshot shows the kacher being fired (purple trace), the inductor voltage (yellow) and inductor current (green)
As before, the grenade was only loaded with a 40W bulb

This picture is similar as the earlier mentioned diagram in post #10839  here:

So we see the kacher is fired at max voltage across the inductor, and i have the feeling it needs to switch on at the peak of the current (green trace).
Not sure how to do that.

I would suggest you invert the trigger signal to the Kacher circuit, trigger it on the negative peak of the voltage sine-wave and delay it a bit using the RC circuit to line it up with the positive peak of the Current sine-wave.

I suppose that if the heater circuit ZVS it changes everything because you have to choose the right capacitor is therefore difficult for you to do can be and good aspects,
worth checking out
and by the way I find out where I made a mistake in the construction
-and there is a need for further trial and error, who knows we may find the language in which it will agree?
single-handedly it will be difficult to break the barier

Nick have you got a photo of the trace both on the same screen of the Katcher wave form and the grenade coil waveform, so we can see whats happening when you have all your bubs lit up please ?

i thing this could be important to view at this time.

   I'm not there yet, as I'm still tuning. I've connected the induction coil to the 3 turns, (4 turns), and the WIMA 0.47uf cap. But, the 28 turns coil and circuit to the grenade output coil is not connected yet. As I'm still looking for best resonance between all the coils now. Not easy...  as it has to be done again with everything connected, and earth grounded, which can change all the previously tuned resonant points.

  With my new set up I find that the yoke core and/or it windings are getting warm, but not too hot.  Never happened before. This is with NO magnetite magnet inside of the core. But, my inductor coil does not get warm at all.
