Section 9.3.3 states that it should be terminated, but AFAIR it also works when opened albeit unstably.

hi everyone,

I have attached 2 version of PWM circuits (TL494 and SG3825AN) for your information.

If you compare just one key difference between TL494 and SG3825AN.

The output of TL494 can merely provide 250mA or 0.25Amps.

The output of SG3825AN can provide 1.5Amps and there is no need to install mosfet driver(optional) and  it lower component count and total cost.

I am using Mylar Polyester capacitor for the frequency generation.But you like even better rock hard frequency stability do consider using mica capacitor for the frequency only.

   It was as Verpies had mentioned. Now It works,  clean square wave signal on both outputs.

You can now connect the missing duty pot to pin 4. See circuit posted by Magpwr above.
