  No, I got that right as to which pin is #1. Or it wouldn't work at all. The IC socket IS in backwards, but it doesn't matter, the TL chip will be installed properly.
  I am using some of the older wire traces where possible, and making some new ones also. That's what takes time, cutting tinning and soldering all those little wires for traces. And it's not much fun, compared to having a ready made PCB, ready to be assembled. Or even in a kit form, including all the components.
That'll be the day...
  It's Easter Week, and it's pretty busy here at the beach, so I don't have much time for the circuit. But, I'll finish it soon.

  I got my gas powered motor bike working now, the one that I just got given to me,  but I wish that it was electric, instead.
