Guys, is anyone here that has built Sergey's nanopulser? (page 787). The drawing of Magpwr misses a cap of few picofarads so to be also able to vary frequency and width. At the original Sergey's drawing this cap is 680pF. Any other tip for this circuit?

I have attached corrected version of 2x 74HC132 interrupter circuit.The key component is the "mica" capacitor C5 used to generate ~1.7xMhz for ultra stability.

I am no longer involved in this replication task.

Hi you might want  to ask Magpower how to wind the winding that goes with it and if it's coax and its length and it's relationship to the grenade coil wingdings or is it hit and miss with blowing the scope up.

Hoppy is that a joke or a cry of desperation ? read Magpowers last posting again, If you would pls.

However his timing circuit does mach  up some of the earlier comments that came out of Lindermans and others lab.

One thing your all glancing over and Nick Z mentioned is the having to re tune to mach the load, any one thought
a variable regulated EHT matching circuit might be required some where along the line to mach the drive demand, starting to get more complicated isn't it, but that wouldn't have been to difficult for Morey in the 20s.

Also The TL494 can be configured to produce pulse spikes, how do you know winch mode should be used ? where is TK's scope trace photo ?
