   AG: Good question. As that is what's needed.
   No one has really shown how to properly tune the Akula/Ruslan device. And just what we need to do to get there.
I am still in the attempt stage.
    However, is seams to me, that once you connect the scope ground negative lead to the device, it will ground out some of the HV interactions. So, once you see what's going on the scope screen, then it may be important to disconnect the scope, or it will affect the results at the output.  Me thinks,  could be wrong, but, so far that's what I see.

Hi Nick. If i understand right, then just place one probe across grenede's output, and the second probe in the mid air next to your katcher coil without attaching it to anywhere. And you will have both traces in the same screen.

   Jeg: Well, yes, that's what I've been doing. But, the point is that I can't place the two frequencies in a way that I can tune them.
For one, the wave forms are moving, and not steady. And second, how do I obtain a way to get the simple Kacher's signal to aline with the induction circuit. The non delay won't cut it.
  Perhaps you can show me how it can be done using your simple Kacher circuit, and grenade. If you still have those around.
As you know, I'm fairly new at using scopes, but I'm learning. We all have to start somewhere.

Nick,

normally a scope can sync (trigger) on 1 signal only (either on CH1 or on CH2).

When both channel signals are free flowing frequency wise, you can only sync (stabilize) 1 signal, the other signal will not be standing still (synced).

ONLY when those 2 signals have a harmonic relation with each other, then you might be able to stabilize both signals.
                                                                                                                                       
In Stalker his screenshot, the Grenade signal (CH1 yellow) is stable as he is triggered on this CH1, see this symbol at the bottom, right from the middle
that reads:  CH1 / 800mV, meaning triggered on CH1 on upgoing signal slope at the 800mV level.

His kacher BURST signal (CH2 Blue) is probably logically synced with this grenade signal, so the BURSTS show up stable as well, but probably NOT the real kacher signal (in the burst).


So unless your kacher signal is a harmonic of the grenade signal you will NOT be able to sync (stabilize) both signals.
You can try to use a ferrite rod in the kacher former to adjust the kacher frequency to a harmonic of the grenade signal (make sure you sync on the Grenade signal!)

You will notice this when the Kacher signal will stabilize too, but it can be a very narrow point.
