I think its important to remember we have all seen the people you speak of come and go. Remember marathon man?, like some here everything was a conspiracy and he was always right and he could hurl insult after insult but lost it over even the slightest criticism. Last I heard people stopped sending him money and he was even making death threats... but where is he now?.

The fact is good people fighting the good fight will always persevere and good things will come to them.

Your right about one thing, all the threads have become a dead end in my opinion. Not only do they have nothing real to show but there not even talking about how FE could work. Maybe I could have a talk with chet about getting something going, something real. Maybe breaking the 1 watt challenge just to drive the critics off the deep end, lol.

I just had to voice my feelings. Bad hair day I guess... but tomorrow is another day.   Guys, we just got hammered by super strong almost hurricane level rains, all night long. Solid continued lightning, and thunder, and so I could not sleep well last night. Perhaps why I'm a bit unstable.  I wish that it were a joke, but, it's not.   NickZ

100's of skilled people with a strong desire to BUILD...
a 1 Watt challenge sounds good...

Were all a bit unstable and under a lot of stress lately. A while back I lost my way, started ranting and was mad at the world. No good came of it and I'm still trying to find my way back.

You know we see EMJ and others here attacking people but if you look at his website he's put in a great deal of time and effort. He's building and testing so while I may not agree with his methods I respect the work he has done.

Maybe we all need to make the effort to be a little more tolerant and give each other some space. Maybe we need to find our own direction rather than following others.

Hi ramset. What naysayers? Pretty hard for someone to be a 'naysayer' when no one has
actually ever openly presented anything concrete here that stands up to even a little scrutiny
for anyone to 'nay say' about.

I would take the 1 Watt challenge, but so far I have never found any circuit configuration in
my years of experimenting that will actually self-sustain for an indefinite amount of time even
with a very small load, and I have done a lot of experimenting in the last many years towards that end.
That 1 Watt challenge is actually no easy feat to achieve, to put it mildly, and realistically speaking.
'Realistically' being the operative word.
