I made that particular "grenade type" as a testing device.
it has 2 layers of copper pipes with ferrite toroid's and a single coil in between the pipes.
(I get voltage from copper tubes also when in resonance.)


above this there is a Don Smith type coiling 1 - 1/4.
primary 1 meter
2 secondary's 4 meter each.
for the waveform you need to connect only the last Don Smith part.
primary to generator and secondary's  are CW and CCW. Center tap to ground and the 2 other secondary leads together to oscilloscope channel.

Close harmonics also show the same waveform.

It  nonetheless works. I experimented today. You just need to find the correct phase by moving one of the primary coils up or down. I just don't know what is the use of this ...

Why can't it be amplitude modulation like in a broadcast radio station? It looks like this.

Nice work kolbacict! Have you noticed any beat, or your coils work on same frequency? In general do you see any different behavior than when we use just one transistor?
