Hi Itsu,
My FG has two channels but I only used one I'm sure I used only one frequency. You made a mistake, you just had to give a signal on the inductor to start from 1500Khz and go up to 1650Khz to see where the grenade signal dances.
You use two frequencys but it's work with one too because you have two coils and  one can be a mirror for the  other one.
I don't use load or you can use a Higher impedance load.

i used your method, but cannot get it to work, i mentioned that.

So i tried what the Russian guys did in the video i (and Justawatt) presented using a 2-channel FG driving a push/pull circuit and that worked and showed that dancing wave.

In your case , something distroy the mirror betwin coils.
You can do something else. Use push-pull with TL494 on inductor and the scope on grenade  Someware the signal from grenade will dance. Go from 10Khz to 60-70Khz
