Just to be clear, by saying "ONLY" and "SHARING", do you mean to say that you do not wish for any discussions regarding alternative measurement techniques or of any discussions that may question your methods to be posted here?

Have you ever attempted to operate your circuit on batteries, but with a DC supply also connected to the batteries to maintain their charge?  If necessary, a modest inductance could be inserted in series between the supply and batteries to isolate any AC loading on the batteries from the DC supply that may affect your oscillations.  The amount of current required to maintain the batteries at a given voltage could then be read from an ammeter in line with the supply (or from the supply's ammeter if accurate enough).  Allow the batteries to reach the supply voltage with minimal current being drawn while unloaded and then connect the BH to the batteries.  The increase in charge current from the supply could be used as an alternate check of the BH's current draw. 

As well, would it not be wise to consider operating your circuit from just a DC supply?  I know that you said doing so causes your circuit to not oscillate or ring, but would not that in itself warrant further investigation?  A bit of inductance added at the DC supply output to mimic the AC impedance of the battery may be all that is needed.

Also, have you ever considered studying the amount of energy required to recharge your batteries once discharged with a given load?

If he IS already aware of this, then clearly his intention is not ONLY to share, but to allow discussion as well. Given these two choices, it would seem that gmeast ONLY need make up his mind as to which way he wishes the thread to go.
