This is a pretty simple project for those of you with the skills I see used here daily.
Get you neighbors plastic trash and run your gen set or car
Its an old idea but one that is often looked over

In the context of an urban North American I would not let that go into my gas tank in a million years.  Mind you I don't drive a diesel-engined car but you get my point.  Any modern car has a high tech engine and you simply can't put unknown fuel into your engine - it would be crazy.
