I took a ferrite out of a CFL and rewound it.  I put 30 or 40 turns around it (same wire it had just less turns) and on top of that I put 4 or 5 turns.  I have a S8050 and a BC337-25 in parallel and this is what happened with a 1.30V battery.

Yeah, this camera takes blurry videos which blows but I do not have the cash to get a better one.

Can you also post a new diagram showing where you insert that
bigger resistor in the YouTube video that makes the LED BRIGHTER.
