Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

What does "It has virtually no impact on water flow" mean? Microscopic changes in pressure or velocity of the fluid?

@Gabriele,

               "Velocity of the water flow"! Lucid claims that these kinds of Gorlov turbines can be placed in series throughout the entire length of the water pipe, extending for miles, and the velocity of the water flow at the end will equal the velocity at the start. This is while drawing off their full power potential in the megawatt range! This in line water pipe turbine should solve all the world's energy needs, except in the desert. I believe there's a chance my idea may be overunity for those arid regions.

               We can draw a comparison between this type of turbine blade and the propellor car that can travel faster into the wind then the wind velocity. The turbine actually speeds up faster then the water flow! This allows the power company to run a generator while keeping the water velocity unchanged. This is due to what "Lucid" calls it's "Lift" technology. The hydrofoil would supply "Lift" to a wing surface if it was on a horizontal plane. The Gorlov takes the helical configuration and combines it with the hydofoil, creating a three dimensional form that imparts forward driving force to the blades. This is very important to understand. A 3-D printer could manufacture this turbine blade. How cool would it be to produce a neodymium version!

Imagine a clear enclosed water filled sphere with a vortical rotor at the base with a magnet attached, allowing it to be powered by an external motor. Eight helical hydrofoil turbine blades of neutral buoyancy could spin around inside the circulating vortex with blades, around a thin hollow tube octagonal frame, surrounded by an electric output toroid coil wrapped around the outside of the sphere. The opposite field of the surrounding toroid output coil would keep the turbine blades away fom the sphere sides. Four small struts seated in grommets on the inside of the sphere could keep the turbine frame anchored also. A 3-D printer could manufacture the different blades, the helical output blades could be cast in ferrite and magnetized artificially. A clear sphere miniature model might self loop and provide artful power for a bed stand! It might need a tiny photovoltaic panel to collect power from the LED's and maybe a supercapacitor and last but not least perhaps a small hidden battery? A Searl class kinetic sculpture!

A small temperature differential would make this unit kick over like Victor Shauberger's repulsine. Just spraying water over the top of a water tower might make the difference on a hot day. Victor spun his vortex rotor until it grew red hot, and generated a tiny tornado inside his Coanda bell. JLN has more on this on his web site. Here's a link to his web site map:

Here's the highest state of the art in 3-D printing of neodymium:

Patent Family Members application Based on 3d printing technology of neodymium iron boron method for preparing (26-Jun-2013)

Applicants: JIN KE MAGNETICS CO LTD

This patent would allow us to 3-D print Gorlov turbine blades from neodymium. Printing a few feet of 1" pipe with lips for the coils, and fasteners for the blades would give us on demand water heaters that generated their own power and delivered the same pressure!

The current state of the art would allow us to 3-D print the helical hydrofoil frame in plastic with slots for the neodymiums, and print wax forms for the neo magnet injection molds, then assemble it by pressing in the neomagnet inserts. It can be N-S-N-S for A.C. I am trying to contact Alex Gorlov right now for patent rights, but it's stlll O.K. for experimenters to manufacture units for personal use.
