Hey Guys!
Recently i stumbled across a german manufacturers website (Heinzmann),
offering several double-sided pancake synchron generators using Neodym-
magnets. The specs claim, it has an overall efficiency of upto 93%, and their
PGS-150 model apparently outputs 4.2kVA with 1,500 RPM and 8.4kVA with
3,000 RPM, and about 9.2kVA with 4,500 RPM uncooled.
It can be found here:

It *may* be a stupid question (i am still a n00b), but perhaps not so, and i
noticed that my handheld disc grinder's motor is really, really strong (1800watts).
Would such a disc grinder motor have not enough power to accelerate such a
high-efficiency generator like that small and compact Heinzmann PGS-150 ??
It may be not suitable for always-on use, i am aware...
but is it really - in most constellations - a fact that one needs more input power than
what can be generated as an output ??
Is there really, from a scientific point of view, a linear correlation of the amount of power
needed to accelerate or retain a certain RPM of a generators rotor, in relation to the
amount of power that is being possible to harvest by the generator?
I am not sure which Neodym-magnets they are using in their model PGS-150.
But what, for example, would happen, if bigger or much stronger Neodym-magnets would
be used in such a high-efficiency generator?
Would it not still rise the yield of the generator by 20-30% etc. ??
If QMoGen's are really possible and really working, then maybe we should better try to use
the very best generators and low-consuming motors (not necessarily Heinzmann), rather
than using shitty ferrite magnet low-efficiency generators/motors and "fine-tuning" them for
a pathetic gain of 2-5%.
I just thought how much easier it may be to "break-even" or reach considerable overunity, if
using at least good equipment.
Or are my assumptions wrong?

Hi,

Most generators on the market, if not all, use conventional induction systems and therefor they all suffer from the Lorentz force:

When you move a magnet towards a coil, a current will be induced in the coil. But, as this current flows trough the coil, the coil becomes a electromagnet. According to Lenz and Lorentz, and real life, this magnet will repell the permanent magnet, forcing you to put mechanical force into it. When the magnet moves away from the coil, the coil will attract it, with the same result. The more energy you take out, the more the Lotentz force will brake. Thus efficiency is not higher than 100% minus losses.

But... millions of engineers look pretty dumb, when they didn't find a way to prevent the Lorentz force, if we assume it's possible somehow...  8)

here is a good drive for your inefficient generator you are refering to.

And here is a generator that tells scientist their full of shit and know nothing of our Universe. 100 % efficiency and beyond has been achievable for many years. PDF Alternating current Generator patent # 6,946,767
