The artistic proposal is simplicity : to play inertia and gravity unbalance ( center of weight ) of two masses , only...something on the same line with a  "natural proposal " , at :

Perpetuum mobile is an obsession for the art , also...something graceful,delicate,light as air... "airy"...open to the air...space...sky .

Maybe we must wonder , so to find the seed of the continuous motion.
