Accumulation of light

Do you think there is a way to accumulate the Light, that is, the light radiation, a sort of tank, and then use it as needed?

If a single crystal blocks light for a minute, directing the light that comes out on other crystals 60, it is able to accumulate the light for one hour ...

If I put two mirrors, one semireflecting and a normal one, enclose the flow of sunlight, since perhaps cause an explosion (in addition to the heating of the mirrors which however would give energy through a thermoelectric cell). How far could keep the bounces of radiation within the cage?
The catch is that then, at the time the "delay" of these rays, I would have a single flow immediate end there .......
