MarkE and MileHigh are two of the most obvious distractors on this forum. They should both be placed on permanent moderation. Where do these guys find the time to feed non-stop rubbish into this forum if they're not on a goverment payroll?

Well firstly the idiom "erased from the history books" barely means anything these days.  Just in case you haven't noticed Tesla isn't exactly unknown.  In fact a Google search for "Nikola Tesla" produces over 10M hits where a search for "Thomas Edison" produces over 8M.   Whatever you imagine is being removed from history books it isn't hurting Tesla's popularity.  I rather doubt that general history texts are supposed to be exhaustive anyway.  I'd suspect that books about electromagnetics give Tesla his due.

Not to mention that you seem to claim that history erasure is done at a higher rate.  Did you ever stop to think what you would have to know in order to know that?  You would need at the very least a randomized sample of history texts.  Every year.  Then you would have to read them all.  Then you would have to compare the historical figures, events, etc... which were recorded.  The math says you haven't done this.

Well, do a yahoo search on Tesla and you get 2.59m hits and Edison gets 4.6m hits.

Some people out there never heard of either one of them.  But just check out some school text books and see which guy gets the red carpet while the other is swept under.

I read just the other day someone who reviewed some high school history books and...I was amazed.  George Washington got a 1 paragraph mention.  Thomas Jefferson
received 2 lines.  Abe Lincoln got almost a paragraph.  Bill Clinton got 4 pages.  Why do we allow folks with a political agenda to "write" the history books?

I mean, history happened.  It is not left nor right...it just is.

But not any more.

Now they are teaching all of the virtues of the Muslim religion while at the same time banning any mention of Christmas, or Christianity as that violtes
the "separation of church and state" clause in the constitution except, that is nowhere to be found in this document.

God help us.

Dang. I hate that Double secret moderation.     
Its where you can post, but nobody can read them except yourself, but you dont know it.
Then ya think that nobody likes you because you get no replies and go nutso. 

Well, regular moderation is a bit the same, you can post, but it 'might not' get approved for up to
a couple days, as I had experienced.

Sometimes, by the time it is approved to be seen by others, your post may be back a few pages and nobody else
would be the wiser. And possibly no replies.     Makes ya not want to post at all and just wait or moderation to lapse.
