What the .... hack amplidine is ??

Very short explanation :

Amplidyne or amplifier plus dyne is an amplifier that uses direct current and rotating armature to generate highly amplified output voltage which is sensitve to very small changes (ripples) in input voltage. Very high degree of amplification. Very extensively used in servomotors control !!
