Are there demonstrations that show the E field of a moving magnet that prove this vs field cutting the conductors to produce currents?

Its all easy to say and hear. But how can we visually show it in a sense that we can say, ok, I get it?

Really good question Mags!!!

Try the below picture, I have used this before for different task and it works fine.

Detecting Electric Fields is normally the task of an Electrometer, or an Electrostatic Field Detector, but many are probe dependant and measure Terminal Potential Difference Voltages.

Below is an example of an Electrostatic Field Detector, Handheld that does not require Probes.

P.S: I dont know of a way to detect Electric Fields without using some kind of Conductors. I have heard of Chemical methods, where a reaction is exhibited in the presence of Electric Fields, but never seen or been able to find relivant data on it.

In a Resonant System, LC, LRC Tank Circuit, we will see a Phase Angle between Voltage (V) and Current (I), this we have been through many times before.

The Active Power in the System is Calculated by the following forumla:

   Power (P) = Volts (V) * Amps (A) * Cos(Φ)

Where Phi (Φ) is the Phase Angle between Voltage (V), normally Leading, and Current (I), normally Lagging, in a LC Resonant Circuit.

But what happens if the Input you are measuring appears to be returning more Energy back to the Source than is Supplied? We have been through this with MarkE (In Respect of him), a long way back.

When a Magnetic Field, external to a System, but applied to the System, moves in the System, there is normally a sudden shift, over Time (t). The Density of the Magnetic Field can be calculated with the following equation:

   Flux (B) = Permeability (μ) * Turns (N) * Current (I)

The Energy (E) Stored in the Magnetic Field (B) can be calculated as follows:

    Energy (E) = ( 1/2 * ( Inductance (L) * Current (I) ) )²

Lets say, a Device Under Test (DUT) has the following Parameters:

   Turns: 2x 300 Turns 0.45mm
   Connected: Series
   Inductance: 2.40 Henrys
   Capacitance: 15uF
   DC Resistance: 11.2 Ohms

The following Wave form is achieved:
