TK, Chet and ALL - This can be improved on tremendously! It doesn't work with just Square Wave input, but this is where we see more effects!

If we all Band together, with all our out expertise in the areas that we all have, then yes in a few Months time we could ALL have working devices that are tremendously better than what we have just seen!

Please ask, Where does the Spike/Ringing come from!

Where the spike/ringing comes from has been explained to you half a dozen times by now, at least. You choose not to believe it.... that's your loss.

Here's what I get from the 2sd2539 with a sine wave input. Top trace is TP A, 50 v/div, 100x probe. Bottom trace is FG input to Base, 2v/div, 10x probe. Again, the transistor is severely underdriven. With 15 v p-p sine wave amplitude from the FG, the main spike still goes to 1.3 kV.

I just can not believe the negativity from at least three people here! I just cant believe it 

Even TK himself said it was "interesting" - How is it that so many have to be so negative towards others that want to try something out, its called Experiment 

TK and I we have had our differences but I highly respect his work, always have.

Maybe others here should respect others decisions to run a simple, cheaply replicated Experiment! Who know what it the end result may be!
