James Clerk Maxwell, in 1861–64, published his theory of electromagnetic fields and radiation, which shows that light has momentum and thus can exert pressure on objects. I was shocked to read how much pressure can be exerted by x-ray photons in the hydrogen bomb.millions,even billions of psi inside the device.photon compression happens instantaneously long before blast/heat gets to the D2 core
