Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I think they will make it...if and only if, they brought some JB Weld with them for any repairs they might need to make along the way.  If they did, it will be no problem.

"J-B Weld is The Original Cold Weld two-part epoxy system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple surfaces. Mixed at a ratio of 1:1, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. At room temperature, J-B Weld sets in 4-6 hours to a dark grey color. A full cure is reached in 15-24 hours. J-B Weld has a tensile strength of 3960 PSI and sets to a hard bond overnight. It can withstand temperatures up to 550ºF when fully cured."

Pirate, aside from joking around this is a really big step to the future and it has never been done. I'm amazed why it has not since the technology has been there for a long time already, oh yeah, GREEED!

LOL, you and your Jbweld.  How do you feel about this video? You will not waste food product or industrial product. https://youtu.be/yxyCLoYfexo

Please stop eating jbweld for food, it is not healthy for you lol!

Thinking cap on, can you JBweld two surfaces that are "coated" with "LiquidGlide"?

I am glad you still have a sense of humor Joel.  Yes, I was kidding.  I doubt that the solar aircraft will need JB Weld on their flight.  This is a historic flight and a landmark and yes, it could have been done before, but, it wasn't.  This technology will only get better.

Yes, you can epoxy any two surfaces.  Of course, it does say to make sure they are clean and free of dirt and oil so, you would first have to clean off the LiquidGlide for it to work.

The battery life of current li-po can already be doubled.

You are not understanding in the molecular level. IOW, finding a way as to nothing can stick to a surface of an item at a molecular level then nothing can stick to it as long as the surface of the item is coated with such molecules...even jbweld would not stick to it on the top coated surface. Lol This also has me thing about engine pistons that get a molecular level of oil on the surface for lubrication. The cylinders are crisscross honed so the walls can better hold on to the oil. Now based on the OPPOSITE of LiquidGlide, there could also be made an opposite of the liquid where it does not "glide" at all? This would mean better lubrication for all engine cylinder walls.

I believe this goes to show that a mere house can be powered my the sun and batteries ALREADY! Your house can only gather the energy from the sun plus batteries for the demands of the energy. A regular person works 40hrs a week. That means 40hrs a week no one is home most of the time. Yara yara, what I'm trying to say is that it is possible to run a house from just the power of the sun's energy and batteries in the year 2015.
